Bishop Hagiya Recommends Generosity Guidance

As many of you have found out, ministry often cannot happen without funding.

I have had a chance to work with Cesie Delve Scheuermann and have found her blog posts on stewardship and the basics of fundraising to be most helpful to me and to other clergy and laity who have benefitted from her wisdom and advice.

She has a good, humorous style and writes in a way that’s easy to understand. She also has been a life-long United Methodist and understands the ins and outs of working with mainline churches.

That’s all to say that I highly recommend “Inspiring Generosity” to you and encourage you to find it at the Oregon-Idaho Conference website (linked via the button below) and subscribe at the bottom of each post.

Be the Hope,

Bishop Grant J. Hagiya
Los Angeles Area Resident Bishop
The United Methodist Church
