The Certified Lay Ministry (CLM) Program provides information, resources, and training for laity who feel called to leadership in ministry both within and through the local church. Each year, the program provides an orientation (late summer) and two training sessions (late fall and spring) sometimes called Cycles.
This December, we welcome Rev. Dr. Lincoln Galloway (K. Morgan Edwards Associate Professor of Homiletics at Claremont School of Theology) and Rev. Nicole Reilley (Director of New Ministries for the Cal-Pac Annual Conference) to lead Cycle A– Intermediate Preaching. From the wealth of wisdom and pastoral experience of these instructors, this session will provide theological grounding, practical instruction, and guidance in critical reflection for how and why the church proclaims the Word of God through preaching.
