Finding Peace in an Anxious World

This series is open to participants from all districts.
This is a FREE event that will be taught in a series of 4 sessions online via Zoom. No childcare will be available for this event.
What is Mission u? Mission u offers an opportunity for women to study and grow in understanding current issues impacting society and the mission of the church in the current world context. With worship & singing, interest groups, mission projects, and fellowship events, you don’t want to miss this inspiring event for women of every age, background, and culture.
This event will be a four-part series on the book Finding Peace in an Anxious World and will be facilitated by leaders in our Hawaii District using the National UMW resources.
Class Schedule:
- September 12: Serenity (led by Maxine Wheeler)
- September 26: Acceptance (led by Atina Pascua and Denise Pierson)
- October 3: Courage (led by Kimberley Houff)
- October 10: Wisdom (led by Kara Mark and Nicole Nonies)
