Strength for the Journey Retreat 2018

A Retreat for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS Serving Hawaii Strength for the Journey is sponsored by  the AIDS Task Force of the United Methodist Church and other supporting Ministries

Strength for the Journey was founded by Reverend Bert All, a United Methodist minister who was himself living with AIDS. He had a vision of a place away from the city- away from the pressures of day-to-day life where people living with HIV/AIDS could rest relax share connect play and heal. Today, Strength for the Journey services several hundred people  through retreats held in Southern California and Hawaii. Strength of the Journey Hawaii  is a 5-day retreat providing a safe caring and healing community. It includes activities to nourish the mind body and soul, so that participants can
return home with renewed strength and spirit.

The retreat includes an opportunity for relaxation and making new friends, with: Yoga to Boost
Immunity Massage Aromatherapy Arts & crafts Meditation Spiritual direction 12 Step Talent show
Memorial campfire  Afternoon tea Hikes- bring shoes!
