Classes are open to participants from all districts.

About the Class:

• Attendance is required at all sessions for credit. All those seeking certification as a Certified Lay Servant are invited to attend. Participants who took the Basic Class in February are required to register and pay for this Advanced Class. One advanced Course is required every three years to become or retain Certified Lay Servant status.
• Technical requirements: To participate in Zoom meetings, participants must have a reliable Internet connection, and a laptop, tablet, or smartphone device that can download and install the Zoom app. A web or phone camera and a microphone are highly recommended, although some users may call in via phone if a mic is not available.
• ADVANCED CLASS (Leading Worship): Instructors are Rev. Kalesita Tu‘ifua, Rev. Linita Moa, Rev. Lynette Fuka, Pastor Josephine Liava‘a and Pastor Langi Lolohea. Required books for you to acquire on your own is “Leading Worship” by Taylor Burdon-Edwards (Amazon price is $10.00 in paperback) and “Worshiping with United Methodists” by Hoyt Hickman (Amazon price is $14.99 in paperback).
