“Planning Worship” by Pam Churness, Instructor
Friday, July 19, 2019 (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM; Session 1) AND Saturday, July 20, 2019 (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Sessions 2 – 5)
Cost & Deadline: $35 through July 8, 2019. No late registrations. Does not include additional helpful resources. Fee includes participant’s book, instruction, and lunch on Saturday.
About the Course & Instructor:
- Pam Churness is a Certified Lay Minister serving at her home church, Community UMC of Julian. She has served as a Certified Lay Servant, Certified Lay Speaker and currently as the Lay Leader of her congregation — but most importantly, “I am a Child of God called by God and directed by scripture to share the message of Jesus Christ.”
- The participant book is The Worship Workshop by Marcia McFee • AB634 • 978-0-68704-634-8 • $12.99
- Helpful resources for independent purchase recommended by the instructor are Bible, The United Methodist Hymnal, The Faith We Sing and Worship & Song. Available from Cokesbury or Amazon.
- No childcare is available for this class.
- Participants must attend both days to receive course credit.
