Events on Native People and the Border Wall 2018

Two people who have been influential in the movement from Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples Day will be at Native American UMC, Anaheim, Feb. 17 & 18, 2018.

Shannon Rivers and David Garcia are both of the Tohono O’odam nation which are a people now struggling with land use rights due to border wall considerations.

On Sat., Feb. 17 they will present and be available for an open forum at 5 p.m.


On Sun., Feb. 18, they will speak during worship time, 10:30 a.m. aprx., and be available for conversation following.
