Native American Ministries / Committee On Native American Ministries requests donations to Sherman Indian High School, one of the few remaining boarding schools under the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Students come from across the United States and often come with little or no supplies.
Native American UMC of So California and other churches in the Cal-Pac Conference have helped Sherman Indian High School students with a variety of needs and supplies.
Donations can dropped off at the Native American Ministries / Committee On Native American Ministries table at the Annual Conference 2017. Look for the Native American United Methodist Church canopy.
Donations can also be brought to Native American UMC, 800 S Lemon St, Anaheim, CA 92805, 714-535-2429 or taken to Lori Sisquoc at Sherman Indian Museum, 9010 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92503, Tuesday through Thursday 1p.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment 951-276-6719.
