Parade Marching on Malaria [video]

On October 18, 2014, members of the English ministry of Bell Memorial United Methodist Church marched in the annual Buckboard Days parade (Rowland Heights, CA).

Why?

They marched to lead their community in imagining no malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.

They marched with a banner with the “text to pledge” number.  And, they hosted a booth after the parade with flyers, posters and a DVD about malaria.

One member even sold his framed photos and donated 10% of his sales to INM.

The proceeds from this day and a bake sale later on, as well as a generous contribution from the Korean ministry of Bell Memorial United Methodist Church, netted a total of $3,000 towards the Imagine No Malaria initiative!
