When our California-Pacific Annual Conference passed the Resolution 12 – 5 “District Re-Alignment “ in 2012 to reorganize the eight Districts into five Districts (Hawaii, North, South, East and West), our Conference United Methodist Women Leadership Team voted to stay at eight UMW Districts.
In 2014, the Conference UMW President, Mele Faiva Blagojevich, saw the need of the United Methodist Women to be on the same path as our California-Pacific Annual Conference.
The work began by having discussions with the Leadership team and all eight District Presidents.
