Scholarships

The Board of Ordained Ministry has a few scholarships that are available.  Please read the guidelines for each scholarship carefully to see if you qualify to apply.  See a printable flyer of a brief description of them all here.

Botkin Theological Student Scholarship Application

The Botkin Theological Student Fund was initially left to the California-Pacific United Methodist Foundation to provide loans to seminary students. Realizing the heavy financial burden that each of our students carry as they enter into full service of the church, the Foundation board of directors decided to change the loan fund into a scholarship fund and  since the Board of Ordained Ministry understands both the potential and  the needs of seminary students, the Foundation seeks their guidance and recommendation for recipients with the following guidelines:
1. The scholarships are limited to first, second and third-year students only.
2. The scholarships are not given to students in a doctoral program.
3. The student must be enrolled in a theological institution that is fully accredited by the United Methodist Church.
