Call for Volunteers for Woolsey Fire Cleanup 2021 (Disaster Response)

Give now to the Disaster Response Fund (#3 on the list) to assist these efforts to aid wildfire survivors.

The California-Pacific Conference Disaster Response Task Force is calling for volunteers to help survivors of the 2018 Woolsey fire restore their homes and property at Seminole Springs Mobile Home Park in Agoura Hills, CA. The team is looking to help four units with landscaping over two Saturdays (March 20 & 27, 2021). Materials will be provided.

All volunteers including current Early Response Team (ERT) members will need to attend a one-hour training session online. Judy Lewis, the Cal-Pac Disaster Response Coordinator, will conduct two sessions with site instructions on Sunday, March 14 (3 PM PDT) and Thursday, March 18 (6 PM PDT). Requirements:

  • at least 16-years-old
  • completing the “Done In A Day” training class online prior to volunteer service
  • must wear steel-toed shoes with sturdy soles, bring a sack lunch, bring plenty of water, and have protective clothing for weather variations.
