Accompanying Asylum Seekers / Acompañando A Solicitantes De Asilo 2019 (JCEMT) @Whittier

Registration Cost: $25 donation to cover training materials and lunch / donacion de $25 cubre materiales y almuerzo

We encourage all congregations interested in ministries of welcome, accompaniment & solidarity with refugees seeking asylum, to participate in one of these trainings, either on August 23 at Central Lutheran Church, Van Nuys or on August 24 at East Whittier Christian Church. The Cal-Pac UMC Justice & Compassion Essential Ministry Team is a co-sponsor of these Sponsor and Support Network trainings. The link for registration is below.

Our upcoming Sponsor Trainings are on August 23 and 24. Potential sponsors and/or support circle participants are welcome to attend either date as they are the same training with a weekday (8/23) and weekend (8/24) option. Please register in advance in order to ensure we have enough training materials and lunch count for all who are attending.
