Christmas Institute 2019 @Oak Glen

Join youth and young adults in Southern California December 26-30 for Christmas Institute, an annual faith-based five-day winter camp that helps prepare leaders for the church and the world. Christmas Institute will be held at Oak Glen Conference Center (39364 Oak Glen Road, Yucaipa, CA 92399). The camp is open to youth and young adults from 7th grade through second year college students.

Christmas Institute originated in the Philippines in the 1930’s and was later transplanted to Southern California to further their goal of bringing youth closer to Christ. This year’s theme is “All In” based on Matthew 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

The camp’s purpose is to help develop and nurture young leaders in their spiritual walk with God and call to ministry, and to inspire the young generation to be fruitful participants in their church and communities.

“My hope is for each participant to experience a genuine encounter with God that will ignite them to be passionate for Christ and in the furthering of the work of the kingdom,” said Camp Dean, Pastor Neil Platon.
