The Cal-Pac Eco-Ministry Task Force is a network for connecting those across the conference and beyond to the church’s work of transformative ecological justice.
Psalm 24: 1-2 states, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” The CalPac Eco-Ministry group is a dedicated group focused on promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship within the CalPac Conference and our community. Comprised of both lay and clergy, the committee works collaboratively to address pressing ecological issues and implement effective strategies for positive change.
Mission and Goals:
The primary mission of the Eco-Ministry Committee is to raise awareness about environmental challenges, advocate for sustainable practices, and foster a culture of ecological responsibility.
Vision:
Our vision is to create a thriving, sustainable environment that benefits current and future generations. Through collective efforts, the Eco-Ministry Committee seeks to inspire a deeper connection between individuals and their natural surroundings, fostering a community committed to protecting the planet.
