Does your church qualify for a fully funded battery backup system?
Raya Solar will share about the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP), a California energy initiative that may cover 100% of the cost to install backup battery systems at your church.
This webinar is just for Cal-Pac churches, and is especially relevant if your church is located within identified communities on this map (located within red zones) and served by Southern California Edison (SCE).
This project supports energy resilience for essential community organizations, including churches. Batteries provide emergency backup power during outages or disasters, and churches can also pair the batteries with solar panels and EV chargers to eliminate long-term utility bills and create new revenue streams at a reduced cost from Federal funding.
Cal-Pac churches like Crossroads UMC and Centenary UMC are already taking advantage of funds available to install EV chargers and solar and will receive a rebate check from the government to offset the cost of the project.
