Dear California-Pacific Conference,

Grace and peace to you on this beautiful summer day!

I would like to announce to you that Rev. Luan-Vu (Lui) Tran will become the new Assistant Chancellor for Church Law. As many of you know, our Chancellor, Lori Meaders, has worked tirelessly with the conference and has been asking for help for a while. Rev. Tran recently resigned from his role as member of the Judicial Council and has offered his services to us. Rev. Tran comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist us with matters of church law, and we are very grateful for his ability to bring that expertise to the conference team.

If you have questions for Rev. Tran or Lori, remember to first reach out to your District Superintendent. They will be the point of contact for our Chancellor and Assistant Chancellor for Church Law. 

Please help me in welcoming Rev. Tran to this new role. He will continue to work as pastor and Assistant Director for the South District.
