Hello everyone.
I’m Bishop Dottie from the California Pacific Conference, and today I just wanted to come to you and say that I’m really grateful for you, for the work that you’re doing in the churches, for the pastors, for the, the laity, for the ways you come together to make sure God’s world knows that, that they are loved, that they’re cared for.
And I am grateful for the ways we remember each other when we sit around a table, but also this thanksgiving, this season of gratefulness. I pray that you’ll also remember those folks who don’t have a table to go to and that you’ll lift up a prayer for them. Part of being grateful is just knowing what you have, and the other part is realizing not everyone has that.
So lift them up to God this season, and I look forward to seeing you next time.
But during the season of gratefulness, remember to reach out to those who are in need the most this season.
