It’s past time for the U.S to restore the human and legal right to seek asylum. The U.S. is stronger when it lives up to its promise as a safe harbor. People fleeing danger deserve to be treated with dignity and humanity – not turned away without the opportunity to seek safety.
On Thursday, November 7, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena will hear oral arguments in our legal challenge against President Biden’s asylum ban. Ahead of the arguments, immigration advocates, community allies, and supporters are coming together in a powerful showing of solidarity in support of people who seek asylum.
It’s time for the U.S. to restore the human and legal right to seek asylum. Will you join us as we rally for asylum rights before the hearings begin?
