The California-Pacific Annual Conference announces today that Wanda Bethea will be promoted to the newly created role of Benefits Manager. Wanda has served as our Pension & Welfare Benefits Administrator since 2007. 

In this new position, Wanda will continue to be involved with most aspects of benefits administration for the Conference, including the churches, clergy, and Conference staff. She will also expand on her current support for the Commission on Equitable Compensation on standards relating to clergy compensation. 

Interim Treasurer Christy Drenner shares, “As we move into a new structure based on the recommendations of the 2023 GCFA audit, we are thankful for Wanda’s knowledge and skills and look forward to her continued passion in this new role.”
