At the 2014 Korean Association of The United Methodist Church Annual Conference (New York), Rev. Jonathan Sunghyun Lee, Senior Pastor of Holliston United Methodist Church, was elected President of the Korean Association of The United Methodist Church (the National Korean United Methodist Church Caucus).

Rev. Lee was appointed to what was then called, “Glendale Korean United Methodist Church,” in 1998.  The church began in 1978 as a Korean ministry of Glendale United Methodist Church in a small dining room.  Since then, the congregation has grown and moved location to Holliston United Methodist Church (Pasadena, CA).  Today, the mission statement of the church is to “Be His Dream, Be the Light of the World.”
