The Sessions Task Force is pleased to report that more than twice as many people will be staying on-site at this year’s annual conference as last year. As we celebrate this, we also acknowledge that this came as a pleasant surprise: We estimated based on last year’s numbers—including growth—but quickly filled the room blocks designated for our group at Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel.
For those still needing a hotel reservation, we have negotiated rooms at Sonesta Los Angeles, located at 5985 W Century Blvd, directly across the side street from the Sheraton (approx. three min. walking distance). The discounted room rate of $149/night plus taxes and fees (little under $173 total/night) includes the following:
- complimentary airport shuttle service to/from LAX
- wi-fi in the guest rooms
- one breakfast per room (note: not per person)
- no “destination” or “resort” fees
At Sonesta Los Angeles, self-parking is available on-site at $15/day plus taxes and fees (approx. $16.50 total/day) with in-and-out privileges.
