Cal-Pac Fires Update – January 17

THE LATEST

SERVICE OF HOPE ON SUNDAY

Join us for a special service for all impacted by the recent fires this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at First UMC of Pasadena. Bishop Dottie Escobedo-Frank will bring a message of hope and strength as we navigate the grief of the moment and the uncertainty to come. After the service, there will be resources such as water, masks, clothes, Hub Insurance reps., grief counselors, and a meal.

LARGE-SCALE SUPPLY PICKUP TODAY

We have a large-scale supply pickup of shelf-stable milk, water, and other supplies available for your ministries, including disaster relief, preschools, unhoused mission work, and migrant shelters. Individuals and churches welcome to come and take all at First UMC of Pasadena!

LA VOICE HOSTS PRESS CONFERENCE ON FIRE RESPONSE

This morning, LA Voice hosted a press conference in Pasadena where Bishop Escobedo-Frank and several Cal-Pac clergy participated and attended. The conference called for an equitable response in fire recovery, and included stories of loss and resilience from the community.  WATCH NOW ON FACEBOOK >>

MEAL SERVICE AT SIERRA MADRE UMC

A meal service for our community will be in the church parking lot at Sierra Madre United Methodist Church on Saturday from 11am-3pm.  The meal will be provided by World Central Kitchen. The address is 695 W Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, CA 91024.

NATIVE NATIONS RESPOND TO LA FIRES
