Young People Gearing Up for Fall Retreat 2014: Going Deeper

newsThis weekend (October 17-19, 2014) at Camp Lazy W Ranch, young people and leaders of young people’s ministry will gather for a time of delving into our perception of God, God’s love, our own identity.

The central question of who we are in relation to God and how we experience God in others will be explored through connection with a variety of Clergypersons and other young adults from around the California-Pacific Conference, in small group conversations, and through engaging and meaningful worship.

Risa Vargas, Youth Director at Upland UMC and former Cal-Pac Camps program intern, is reminded of how, “this is such a rare and important opportunity for young people and leaders of young people’s ministry to be spiritually nurtured directly by pastors who will lead our small groups and who fully support the ministry of young people.”

Registration is still open for “Going Deeper” and costs $85 for the 3-day, 2-night retreat in beautiful Camp Lazy W. Ranch.
