Offering guidance and helpful tips for new and experienced advocates alike, Building Power Together: A Toolkit for Advocates in Leadership unpacks and explores how to build sustainable movements that lead to justice and peace.

September 25, 2023

Being or becoming a leader for social justice advocacy seems at times daunting, overwhelming and complicated for many of us.

As United Methodists, we are encouraged and willing to take action against social injustices (United Methodist Social Principles, ¶164.B), but sometimes need more understanding and training on how.

Offering guidance and helpful tips for new and experienced advocates alike, Building Power Together: A Toolkit for Advocates in Leadership unpacks and explores how to build sustainable movements that lead to justice and peace.

You can order the new Building Power Together: A Toolkit for Advocates in Leadership, as well as other General Board of Church and Society (GBCS) print materials via the GBCS’ Online Store.

Check out GBCS resources online and grow in your faith-based, social advocacy awareness, engagement and action.
