Every other year, the California-Pacific Conference, in partnership with HUB International and Philadelphia Insurance Company, offers loss control workshops as a part of managing our risk.
The purpose of this workshop is to help local church leaders learn how to keep insurance premiums down by minimizing insurance claims which raise premiums for all of our local churches.
As there is new information to be shared this year, even if the event was previously attended, Archana Carey, Conference Treasurer and Executive Director of Finance and Facilities, and the Conference Board of Trustees recommend that our pastors and church trustee members join one of the workshops this year.
The workshops are FREE, including dinner. Each session will begin with dinner at 6:30 PM followed by the workshop at 7:00 PM in the following locations:
- March 26, 2020 @Faith UMC of Torrance (West District)
- March 31, 2020 @Ontario First UMC (East District)
- April 1, 2020 @Hope UMC of San Diego (South District)
- April 6, 2020 @First UMC of Ventura (North District)
