Best Practices in Hospitality and Worship Design Workshops This August

Your Connectional Ministries Team invites you to our upcoming August Workshop Event: Best Practices in Hospitality and Worship Design Workshops. This event, led by Jason Moore, promises to provide you with actionable strategies for enhancing hospitality, connecting with new guests, and designing impactful worship experiences. Let’s hear more from Jason Moore and Rev. Ken Suhr, our Director of Leadership and Congregational Vitality:

Event Details:

  • Dates: August 6-8
  • Location: Aldersgate UMC, Tustin
  • Cost: $150/team (3 members); includes all workshops, lunch, and dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. Teams attending one day: $100. *If cost is prohibitive, please contact Rev. Ken Suhr.
  • Accommodations: If your team needs hotel rooms, we have a room block available at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Tustin for $189/night. You can book at this link.

Who Should Attend: Clergy and church leaders involved in service planning. We encourage you to bring a team consisting of your pastor and two lay leaders.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday, August 6:
    • 10am-5pm: BOTH/AND Hospitality Workshop
    • 6:30-8:30pm: Dinner and A.I. Workshop
  • Wednesday, August 7:
    • 10am-5pm: Worship Design Workshop for Lent 2025
    • 6:30-8:30pm: Dinner and Interactive Worship Experience
  • Thursday, August 8:
    • 1-hour consultation sessions with Jason Moore
    • Afternoon departure

Participants will also have the opportunity to join virtual cohorts to continue the discussions and training over the next few months.
