Rev. Stephen J. Copley, Itinerant Missionary in Cal-Pac (GBGM)

newsDo immigration issues affect your church? From June 7-17 the Rev. Stephen J. Copley, Church and Community worker with the General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM), will be in our Cal-Pac Conference and will be available to speak to your church. Rev. Copley serves as director of Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON) in Little Rock, Arkansas. He will speak to any size group in your church in the morning, afternoon, or evening.

JFON is a network in mission of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), annual conferences, congregations, and ecumenical partners. Global Ministries initiated JFON in 1999 as a response to increasingly complex immigration regulations in the United States. JFON provides free clinics for immigrants seeking counsel to solve immigration issues. Learn how UMCOR trains volunteers, distributes resources, and provides national-level leadership to these immigration ministries across the United States.

Contact Kay Grimmesey, Missionary Itineration, at kgrimmesey@hotmail.com to schedule Rev. Copley for your church. Only Sunday afternoon, June 8, and Wednesday noon, June 11, are already spoken for.
