“Our Call” Video Series (Kimball Boyd Coburn Ministry)

The Board of Directors of the Kimball Boyd Coburn Ministry is proud to present a new series of ten short inspirational videos, available online and free of charge, to the California-Pacific Conference. In the series, Kimball shares stories and songs of God’s love and our opportunities to make a better world. These professionally produced videos, each approximately five-minutes in length, are suitable for use in worship services, small group study, UWF devotionals, adult classes, and anywhere an inspiring message with music is desired.

This video series marks a new phase of Kimball’s forty-plus years of servant evangelism. After early success as a Memphis-based Rock ‘n Roll singer, writer and recording artist, Kimball felt the Call to ministry. He received his theological training at the Claremont School of Theology and graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1975.

After years of pastoring in local churches, Kimball felt a Call within a Call to create his unique ministry of evangelism. He sensed God leading him to share the loving, confronting, and hopeful Call of God to be the Church. Kimball was appointed in the Cal-Pac Conference of the United Methodist Church to a ministry of Evangelism in the Prophetic Spirit by Bishop Jack Tuell in 1981. He was awarded the Bishop’s Award at the 2023 California Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church by Bishop Grant Hagiya and Bishop Escobedo-Frank and passionately spoke in support of Young People in our ministries in his acceptance speech.

Like the circuit riders of the last two centuries, The Rev. Dr. Kimball Coburn travels wherever he is called. For over 40 years Kimball and his wife, Pam, have been faithful to the mission of evangelism. They have traveled throughout the US where their warm and contagious spirit has touched many lives and congregations. These videos allow Kimball to continue to use his talents and voice to share God’s love through media.
